​RiverGate Medical Center is a two-story, 38,548 square foot, multi-tenant medical office building attached to the Animas Surgical Hospital, a 30,505 square foot surgical hospital consisting of 12-beds and 4 operating rooms.

The hospital offers a full range of services including anesthesiology, ear/nose/throat, emergency medicine, plastic/reconstructive surgery, pain management, as well as quality care for women including gynecology. The Hospital has the closest emergency room to the ski area at Durango Mountain. River Gate Medical Center is located approximately 1.5 miles south of downtown Durango, with frontage along the east side of the Animas River viewing the Rocky Mountains.
